 Patriot Realty is finalizing plans to develop a luxury 486-unit high rise multifamily property located on the Metro in the Wheaton Central Business District in Montgomery County, Maryland. The 17-story building will have a 58,000 sf. Safeway grocery store, SunTrust bank, Bergman’s drycleaner and Starbucks coffee on the ground floor with direct access to Metro across the street. The site is in downtown Wheaton within two blocks of the 2 million sf. Westfield’s regional mall and numerous restaurants. The project will be LEED Certified with construction expected to commence in fall 2011. Patriot Realty is the development manager overseeing the development team and will own the property at completion. Patriot Management will oversee leasing and operations.
